Lucky23 Accessibility Policy
Lucky23 is committed to providing access to its Web site and those of its clients to as many visitors as possible. This includes individuals using a variety of browsers (including PDA, mobile phone and text-only browsers), slow modems, no audio output, and to people using assistive technologies to access the Internet.
For that purpose, we have established this Web accessibility policy. This policy applies to all Web-based information, services or transactions developed and maintained directly by the company, or any consultants/vendors who develop Web sites or content for a Lucky23 Web site.
Implementation
Lucky23 will apply Version 1.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Accessibility Guidelines http://www.w3.org/TR/WAI-WEBCONTENT in the design, creation and maintenance of its Web site content and all transactions that rely on Web browsers for content presentation.
Our policy is to ensure that all our sites conform to W3C conformance level Double-A, according to the WCAG 1.0 Guidelines. We consider Double-A conformance to represent a minimum acceptable level of accessibility for a professional web site.
Where client and design considerations make it appropriate, we will aim for Triple-A conformance level. However, we will always put practical considerations first; where current inadequate user-agent support for certain guidelines make them impractical or restrictive for end users (such as the conflicts between specifying keyboard shortcuts and user agent keyboard controls, where no workable standard currently exists) we will fall back to a lower (Double-A) conformance level where we feel it is more appropriate to the target audience.
Note: At present, we are reviewing the WCAG 2.0 guidelines and have not adopted them as a part of our accessibility policy.
